I absolutely love the Miller family, and it was such a treat to have them back in front of my camera for an extended family photography session! It had been a while since I'd seen everyone, and I couldn't believe how much the grandchildren had grown. With grandparents, their three grown children, and all their families together, we had quite the crew! The grandkids were so well-behaved, and our beautiful outdoor setting gave them plenty of room to run around between photos. And with just one granddaughter in a sea of boys, I have to say she held her own! As a Spartanburg, SC family photographer, I love sessions like these that bring multiple generations together.
What stands out most about the Millers, though, is how fiercely these grandparents love their grandchildren and how much this entire family loves one another. They've had a trying year, but their positivity and outlook on life have been so encouraging and inspiring to me. It's a reminder of just how precious family is and why I love capturing these moments. Extended family photography sessions are about so much more than getting everyone in one picture. They're about preserving memories of grandparents, siblings, cousins, and all the people who mean the most. Miller family, I love y'all, and I'm so thankful I got to capture this season of life for you!
