The Beers

It's always a highlight of my year to spend an evening with the Beer family! They are long-time photography clients, and every year I am amazed at how much their two girls have grown—and how much more beautiful they become. This year, we met up downtown Spartanburg, using the urban setting as a backdrop for their family photo session. The energy and love between them are always palpable, and it’s a joy to watch them interact. The girls are natural little performers, and they once again treated me to an impromptu show, proudly demonstrating their latest ballet moves for the camera.

During a few of the candid shots, the girls leaned in close, whispering secrets and giggling. I wish I could hear what they were saying! Those quiet, conspiratorial whispers are the things that make childhood so special, and I loved capturing the genuine connection and easy laughter between them. It’s a true privilege to document this family’s journey year after year. Thank you, Beer family, for trusting me to capture your beautiful and growing family!
