Hugs by the lake.
There is something truly magical about a fall family photography session by the water, and my recent afternoon with the Allain family was no exception. We met at their neighborhood lake for a Spartanburg, SC photoshoot that was perfectly framed by the changing autumn leaves and the calm reflection of the water. This family of four is incredibly loving, and it was such a joy to work with their two daughters, who were absolute stars. They followed every prompt with a smile, making it easy to capture those genuine, polished portraits that every parent dreams of during a fall family photography session.
As the sun began to set, we went from the more posed shots to playing around. I captured all four of them laughing through a game of "Ring Around the Rosie" before ending the evening the best way possible—tossing leaves into the air! The warmth of this family is undeniable; before I could even pack up my gear, both daughters ran up to give me huge goodbye hugs!
