Mills Family

Chasing giggles.

I recently had the pleasure of meeting and photographing the Mills family at the beautiful Milliken Arboretum. As a new client family, it was a joy getting to know them and capture this precious stage of their life with two little boys: a 2.5-year-old and his 8 month old little brother. The oldest was a true toddler, full of energy and curiosity! We embraced his busyness, capturing his exploration and quick dashes, which led to some genuinely fun and candid family moments.

The star of the show, however, might have been the sweet 8-month-old. He was so content and had the most infectious, adorable laugh. The connection he shared with his dad was heartwarming, especially when his daddy bounced him on his knee, bringing out the cutest little giggles. Moments like these—the toddler's zeal for life and the baby's pure joy—are exactly why I love family photography. I can't wait to see them again as the boys continue to grow!
